De gestreepte Strandloper is een dwaalgast in West Europa. Deze migrant broedt normaal gesproken in Siberie en Noord Amerika en overwinteren in Zuid Amerika en soms het Australisch gebied. In Nederland de laatste jaren een aantal waarnemingen me tname in Flevoland.
